Last Sunday, boarders from Years 7, 8 and 9 headed off to Xscape Snozone in Milton Keynes, an indoor skiing and snowboarding venue. On Thursday 18th January, Lower Sixth Chemistry students set out to London to attend an A Level event hosted by Science Live! A spellbound audience of students and staff were wowed by virtuoso performances from London-based Taiwanese violinist Yu-Mien Sun, accompanied by pianist and Woldingham’s Co-ordinator of Instrumental Music Ruth Wang, at a lunchtime recital on Friday 22 November.

As the first half term comes to a close, the action on the courts and pitches has been plentiful and, in many cases, very successful. Face the Music IV – A Tale of Two Cities was a triumph, not just of musical talent, but also of stamina, memory and versatility. The annual Year 8 trip to Ardingly Activity Centre went ahead on a breezy, sunny day - perfect for the water sports activities on our programme. These can be set up as meeting, training or seminar rooms depending on requirements.
