With comparable F2P games out like Crossout, Trove, etc...I'd pass unless you're really into create and play games. There is a way to earn these items without paying for them, but in order to get them this way you will have to grind for a considerable time which can make things become tedious quite quickly. Enhanced For Xbox One X I dont mind unlocking stuff and leveling up but its not worth losing every game too people who are already at lvl 20. this game is kind of cool you make anything you want pretty easily, any yes that also means walking genatalia that shoots guns and flys, havnt played very serious online but i have a blast building crazy funny robots and joining a match with it.
