It was good though, cooked al dente, and a large serving. We love their Green Chile and even buy it for home cooking. Monroes Deli Style Eatery « Back To Kingwood, WV.
The service was a bit slow, but then while we were there, the seating area filled up quite a bit. I have never had calabacitas that was just sliced squashes and diced tomato. Pinto beans very creamy and tasty.

The chips and salsa were ok. The service was top notch!
I think that 3 of us had the carne adovado that was spicy but not too much!! See restaurant menus, reviews, hours, photos, maps and directions.
The meal also came with sopapillas, which were large and good with honey.
I was offered a refill on my Coke.

The stuffed sopa and tamales where very good. Don't forget to degust nicely cooked honey chicken, burgers and chilli chicken at Monroes Restaurant.You can share tasty brownies, pancakes and brioches with your friends and have a good time here.
I had mine with a side of mixed veggie(squash/zucchini) and they were perfect and tasty!
