I did not want to move so far south but am graetful I made the move.

So, yeah, it's been interesting. It looks like a pretty area of washington but I guess looks don't mean everything in terms of scenery. It's been interesting as I've lived in the same house my whole life.

Just to provide some context before you read my review. But something stuck me recently and I feel that I have to ask: Is Federal Way safe? Federal Way is home to the most Diverse community in Western Washington, and that comes with many implications. Violent crimes in Federal Way are 23% higher than the national average; In Federal Way you have a 1 in 20 chance of becoming a victim of crime; Federal Way is safer than 12% of the cities in the United States; Year over year crime in Federal Way has decreased by 14%

I have grown up here and spent a vast majority living here and being in the community. Has the crime rate not improved in the past few years? I love how diverse the community of Federal Way is. The local government sucks!

Very safe. I personally like Federal Way, I practically grew up here. Aside from that, we need more entertainment options, more resources for teenagers (e.g. The Pacific Highway is at least 10 minutes away so I'm able to drive everywhere with ease. I have to travel 20 miles to get my medical marijuana because they won't allow stores in Federal Way. What will happen when the Federal Way Police aren’t guarding the Transit Center again? Some areas of Federal Way are better than others, but there is generally a lot of diversity in all areas. With that said, for well over a decade, I've really enjoyed living in Federal Way. Don't get me wrong, the aforementioned leadership is not that bad, but the Chicago Bulls in the nineties didn't start wining championships (six in eight years) until they replaced Doug Collins with Phil Jackson.
