Furthermore even in the 1970’s there were many men from previous generations and others not participating in wearing “nut huggers.” Hi, I would avoid them. Any thoughts? Now, depending on which wash and cut you buy and whether or not you buy an older, original pair of Jogg Jeans or a newer pair, they will stretch. They will probably stretch out between half a size to a size, depends on the thickness and quality of the jeans and how much you wear them. Saves you the job! This pair is made of a broken twill and the 7 site specifically advises to order one size down due to the high stretch factor (they are 98% cotton 2% spandex). Good day! The extremely soft, strong material is ideal for making bed linens and clothing which will be worn against the skin. I can get my entire hand in sideways if I stretch it out. In case a store does not have the product the delivery time will be up to 4-6 work days. Machine washable up to 30º. These are an odd sort of stringy, strechy rip, unlike anything I’ve witnessed before. For example, you mentioned -Byron bay, 46% cotton, 27% lyocell, 25% rayon, 2% spandex and Axel 44% rayon, 29% cotton, 25% cupro, 2% polyurethane, which have different materials. Just mid range/price ones but pretty comfy (usually). Before sewing cotton jersey, prewash the fabric and dry it in a hot dryer, because cotton tends to shrink and it is better for the shrinkage to occur before you start sewing. I wanted a pair of nice black jeans. You might not have heard about these, but since it’s a newer fabrication, I have to include it.

My fav jeans at AG’s Legging, Angel and The Ballad (discontinued). Thanks!

Hi Jodi! The size 0 is tight but wearable while the size 2 is looser and more comfortable but may end up stretching out too much after being worn.

Hey, if they are 100% cotton, they will stretch.
I’m on the hunt to find a pair of summer weight jeans, higher waist (10”), with a light color/wash. I think the fibers can’t take the heat, that is just a hypothesis on my part. The size 27 fits perfectly around the waist and thigh area but is VERY tight around the calf. The best thing you can do for 100% cotton jeans is to buy them really small, make them damp, and wear them. I hope that helps!

I recently purchased 2 different styles of Mother jeans (the Cruiser flare & the Looker skinny) in a size 26. For example, if you carry a little extra on the inner thigh, the jeans just conform to your shape and nothing at all is held in. Thanks again. If they usually fit fine when you buy them and aren’t tight, it’s often the case they stretch to be too big. Here’s a review I did: https://thejeansblog.com/denim-reviews/citizens-of-humanity-liya-high-rise-jeans-in-fade-out/. exciting challenge of being a wiseGEEK researcher and writer. Thanks. FREE Shipping on your first order shipped by Amazon. hi anon: combed cotton and knits are two diff categories which cannot be compared. So bad it’s painful and you can barely button them? Even T-shirts and leggings are made from knitted fabrics, so I guess what you need is better quality of fabric i.e. one pair are the tight 100% cotton and are perfectly fit according to my body, some how tight, and stretch with use. For example, if the breadth is 24 inches or 2 feet or 60 cms, then your fabric dimensions will be 10 meters by .6 meters. Oh wonderful!
