Smooth and fast, tracks like melted butter. It has brought us a lot of enjoyment. This is crazy brand new unit was on lot before pick up they new of the problem with the floor. WORTH IT!!!!
Even with these problems, we have been satisfied with the camper as a whole. It fits 2 full size quads great! Unit tows great behind my Ram 1500 Hemi. Garage area with separate entrance door is versatile for toys, pets or people. My husband has a Harley and anytime we go to bike week it’s super easy to load and un load. On Punch-Out list found out that all four corners of RV leaked. Other negative of trailer is have to use city water to fill tank. Front of the stove top fell off.
About two weeks after this was fixed we were home cleaning when our electric turned off. Over all we are just ok with this rig. It took 6 months and lots of lip service from the Quebec dealer before we got reimbursed for that repair. Fireplace burned up. The service center we purchased the unit from has provided terrible customer service, but Heartland also declined the repair to the refrigerator. Its just spewing water everywhere. I am furious with how this company does business.
Poor fit and finish. I was told the trailer came with a backup camera. Screen enclosure frame fell off. I explained to the man there what had happened and he asked me if there were pins in the couches to secure the couches and prevent them from falling. The plus side is it’s our starter trailer and even though we’ll probably have to pay out of pocket for the floor, we are excited to get it back and do some camping. They state they had to order a new awning motor cause ours want working...Not great but not a huge deal. We live in our RV. Easy towing, plenty of storage in and out. What is wrong with the manufacturer??? It is a very comfortable living space, or a vacation get away.
was "Oh you can't talk to her!" Since purchase we have had nothing but a year and a half of problems. He empty's it and barely anything comes out. When we would hit the auto level button it would begin to level and then it would extend the legs on one side of the RV as far as it could and the legs on the opposing side wouldn’t move at all causing the RV to almost tip over. Loose cabinets and the couch had only 2 screws in it to hold it down. This my first 5th Wheel. Nice looking unit but very poor quality. We have had a rather serious issue after our 4 trip. As of jan 2019 spent total of 2 months intermittently since purchase feb 2018 rest of the time being repaired. Next thing we know the trailer is leaking water out the bottom all over! Toilet seals bad flooded rv and contents. Was not taken care of properly.
We absolutely love this unit. Last short trip the bedroom /bathroom door and hardware all fell off the wall. The toilet in the 2nd bathroom is constantly clogging.
I have absolutely no complaint with Heartland ..! The electrician immediately knew that the transfer switch was bad. We believe we have actually made the rig better because we replace parts with better quality items and workmanship. We’ve already had a major leak in the bedroom, broken blind, the garage radio doesn’t work, the sound bar falls down with each trip and the outside speakers stopped working. So my husband had to fix that. I like the patio when we can ever use it since no rv park has a big enough spot obviously. The first few months I owned it I called them a few times and reached out for different things that I found or needed help with and they were more than helpful.
