While I have loved going to school here, I do wish we had music or sports programs. There is a strong feeling of community that pulled us in from the start.

The Winter Sports School was a great experience to have gone through high school. Small: Less than 5,000, Medium: 5-15,000, Large: More than 15,000. I am able to compete in high school athletics and am on a city youth committee, and I still have all the time I need to do SUCCESS. Because of the religion, parties are a lot different than would be expected from most people, but there are still parties and lots of other social activities! The social studies department is applaudable; the social studies teachers have taught me so much and were able to keep me, a student who struggles with learning history, interested in learning about the material. Senior year, I was able to get my Medical Assistant Certificate through some classes offered at Timpview, which helped me get an internship at a local hospital with Pediatric Physical Therapy and Rehab as well as Timpview's Athletic Trainer. I loved the environment and I really felt that the teachers wanted us to succeed. Select a value that matches your actual or expected total score on the ACT or SAT. For example, I know people who have jobs in the middle of school who were able to move their classes around and take online classes at home so they were able to work and go to school. Everything is taught at the honors level, and the honor classes at Maeser are a step above that. Some facilities are falling apart slightly (the roof leaked this spring, a water main burst last winter), but overall very cozy. This school's student body is highly involved with volunteer, travel abroad, and work opportunities. I like the community at AMES.
