While I have loved going to school here, I do wish we had music or sports programs. There is a strong feeling of community that pulled us in from the start.

It's never a dull moment in the student section: the PAC 12-league sports at the U are out of this world! Teachers care for students safety and success. The Winter Sports School was a great experience to have gone through high school. Small: Less than 5,000, Medium: 5-15,000, Large: More than 15,000. I am able to compete in high school athletics and am on a city youth committee, and I still have all the time I need to do SUCCESS. In my earlier years in this school I would get annoyed by all the speaking we had to do and all the reading and essays we had to do.
Former athlete at Merrimack. Not what you paid for :)Friends I made were amazing! The teachers are super involved with the students and they want to see us succeed. Because of the religion, parties are a lot different than would be expected from most people, but there are still parties and lots of other social activities! All of the professors I’ve had in the past have been extremely friendly and understanding. The social studies department is applaudable; the social studies teachers have taught me so much and were able to keep me, a student who struggles with learning history, interested in learning about the material. Senior year, I was able to get my Medical Assistant Certificate through some classes offered at Timpview, which helped me get an internship at a local hospital with Pediatric Physical Therapy and Rehab as well as Timpview's Athletic Trainer. Our school's motto is "truth, honor, and virtue." I am genuinely having the time of my life, and am constantly finding new ways to get involved and make my stamp on the world!Read 2,782 Reviews. In 2015, 694 students graduated in the study area of Engineering with students earning 560 Bachelor's degrees, 112 Master's degrees, and 22 Doctoral degrees. Students have not only their core subjects, but they can take musical classes like chorus or for an instrument.

I loved the environment and I really felt that the teachers wanted us to succeed. Select a value that matches your actual or expected total score on the ACT or SAT. For example, I know people who have jobs in the middle of school who were able to move their classes around and take online classes at home so they were able to work and go to school. Everything is taught at the honors level, and the honor classes at Maeser are a step above that. Some facilities are falling apart slightly (the roof leaked this spring, a water main burst last winter), but overall very cozy. This school's student body is highly involved with volunteer, travel abroad, and work opportunities. The social studies department is applaudable; the social studies teachers have taught me so much and were able to keep me, a student who struggles with learning history, interested in learning about the material. I like the community at AMES.
